Non-Profit Church Technology Ministry

Tech help for your church. So you can focus on what matters.

MagLAction is a non-profit team of IT professionals who help churches choose, set up, and maintain their technology. Because every hour your pastor saves on tech is an hour back in ministry.

Technology should serve the church.
Not the other way around.

There are great tools out there for churches. The challenge is knowing which ones fit your size, your budget, and your actual needs — without spending months researching or money you don't have.

Software Overwhelm

Breeze, Planning Center, Tithely, Subsplash — dozens of good options, but figuring out which one fits your church can take weeks of research you don't have time for.

Tight Budgets, Big Needs

Small churches do incredible work with limited resources. Spending on the wrong tools means less for the ministry that matters — and better alternatives often exist that nobody told you about.

Volunteers Burning Out

Your tech volunteers give their time sacrificially, but often without training or support. They deserve better resources — and your church deserves a sustainable tech team.

How We Help

Tell us your church size and budget.
We'll tell you exactly what you need.

No product to sell. No commission to earn. Here's what we actually do.

Vendor-Neutral Software Guidance

Not sure which church management software fits? We'll listen to your church's needs — size, budget, what you're actually trying to do — and give you an honest recommendation. We'll help you find the right fit.

Tech Setup & Migration Help

Switching from spreadsheets to Breeze? Moving from one giving platform to another? We'll walk you through the whole migration, step by step.

AV & Livestream Support

Practical guides for sound systems, projection, cameras, and streaming — written for church volunteers, not audio engineers. Yes, your sound booth can look like something other than a pile of tangled cables.

Grants & Resources Directory

Did you know Google gives non-profits $10,000/month in advertising credits? Most churches don't. We maintain a directory of grants, discounts, and tools that churches can actually use.

Why MagLAction

Your church serves its community.
We help with the tech part.

Feeding the hungry, counselling families, running youth programmes — that's your church's calling. Technology should support that work, not get in the way.

Extend Your Reach

A livestream means the homebound grandmother and the curious neighbour can be part of your church too.

Give Back Time

12 hours/week on spreadsheets is 12 hours not visiting the sick. The right tool gives that time back to ministry.

Stretch the Budget

The right tools for your size means more of your budget stays where it matters — in ministry and community.

Support Your Volunteers

A trained tech volunteer with the right tools becomes a long-term servant, not a burnout story.

About

Magnify Local Action

MagLAction was born from a heart for the local church. We saw congregations doing incredible work in their communities — but struggling with technology that should have been helping them, not holding them back. We thought: what if IT professionals volunteered their skills the way doctors volunteer on mission trips?

That's what MagLAction is. A team of technologists serving the church. We believe when the right technology is in place, churches can do what they do best — love their neighbours, serve their communities, and magnify their local action.

Need tech help for your church?

Tell us about your church and what you're dealing with. Software questions, AV setup, livestreaming, volunteer training — whatever it is, we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Are you an IT professional who wants to volunteer? We'd love to hear from you too.
